Location.

The Whitsunday Islands are situated at the heart of the Great Barrier Reef on the north tropical coast of Queensland. The are is approximately 1,100ks north of Brisbane and 700ks south of Cairns.
There are 74 islands with seven resorts that make up the group, direct flights connect the area to most capital cities. Rail and bus services are also available.

Water activities.

The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park of which the Whitsundays are part, is renowned fot its exceptional dive and snorkelling sites.
Snorkelling gear is provided and dive gear or dive excursions can be arranged, dive vessels can rendezvous with you at your anchorage.

Fishing is restricted in some areas.
