Whitsunday Islands

These 74 tropical islands are fringed by coral reefs, white beaches and feature numerous secure anchorages in beautiful locations. Cruising time between anchorages is approximately two hours. Anchorage and weather advice is available 8.30 am to 5.30pm.

The seven resorts scattered throughout the islands welcome visiting yachts offering Berths/Moorings, Entertainment, Dining and use of Facilities.

The islands are located within the trade wind belt and enjoy predominantly southeast winds. Under normal conditions the average daytime temperatures range from 19 to 23C in winter and 23 to 30C during the summer.
